"poser" is so overused it has lost all meaning, almost like the word "gaslighting". to me a poser is a racist that pretends to be punk or whatever, not like, someone who doesn't know how to play guitar lol

theres a tweet that goes something along the lines of "artists hate their own art because they think if they improve it will look like a better artist made it, but no matter how technically good you get theres no skill level at which you stop being you." and im not saying itll help or even if thats the issue, but it did help me with how i felt about my own art
