I remember playing the Penumbra demo way back in they day. Mostly because I was into free-ware games at the time and that was one of the ones I'd seen on the wiki. I'm not much of a horror fan but it was a nice looking game.

in Penumbra: Black Plague, there's an infected man, Wilbur Frisk, who will attack you from holes in the wall if you pass by them with the lights off. You never see him, he has no model. You're basically just going to get got if you're in the dark. Very similar to monster in The Bunker, who burrows through the walls and tries to avoid the light, I hope they were thinking of Frisk when they designed him.

Frisk is also revealed to have been behind a death that you *hear* in the first Penumbra game, but you never encounter him in the game beyond that. I nowww remember that there's an old Penumbra tech demo game that was REALLY really good, I wonder if I can get it running...
