Beat the first boss in Labyrinth of the Demon King. A lot of fun. A desperate 5 minute duel with a giant. Rewarded with new armor. Now I'm at a cat's teahouse. She gives you complimentary tea that you can prepare yourself. Her kappa husband is a blacksmith next door and can upgrade your gear. Very comfy reprieve from the labyrinth.

+Labyrinth of the Demon King is pretty good. Got it and Umigari and Motorslice. All for under $40. The idea of paying $100 for a single game makes me feel like my stomach is bleeding ++hunting for PCE-CD games +++new Mil-Sim Story is out ++++almost finished with POOLS. like it, but there's s--idk if this is an issue, but there's a hint that it might be Hell, and idk how I feel about that. does that make it scarier?

Zzzzzzzzzzzz ending's not great, though. a little ambiguous, but mostly just bleak. I don't think it had to be and I don't think it should have been. If Visage can have a happy ending, you should at least be able to escape the pools.
