ugh that type of heat without AC is the worst. I checked out "I Can't Die Like That." Thanks for sharing, I'm into it.

Gave in and made a page for my dumb Tomodachi Life island. Please don't judge my selection of Miis. Or do, I guess, I'm not your boss.

@myrtletribe I thought about it, but I'm not sure the island's ready for the full force of Danny Dyer's Chocolate Homunculus

It's a very useful dataset! I was most surprised Statham didn't throw any punches in The Meg. Definitely thought he punched the big shark at least once.

I feel you on the TV. My husband has been watching The Diplomat while I play video games next to him and he made me google to see how many seasons Netflix had approved. Honey. Bby. They're all one season at a time. Who knows if your writers get to plan a real plot? We'll never know.

also, i loved reading about your thoughts on the opening paragraph to Moby Dick because they exactly mirror my own. i used to go on about how excellent that opening is to whoever would listen!

Ahhh thank you! I really enjoyed exploring your website and reading all your book reviews. I'm glad it's not just me getting worked up about how good that opening paragraph is, hahaha. Something about it just activates my inner lit professor every time.

Thank you very much! I dithered the images using ditherit.com, partly because I like the look but also because it usually reduces the file size and I like things to load quickly.

Added a list of Wikipedia articles that I like for whatever reason (I've seen some other people do this and I always think it's fun!). Also updated my list of recommended free ebooks and the links page.

Although I guess posting a comment explaining what's been updated is now a little less necessary with the new Newsfeed design? Showing non-itty-bitty thumbnails of the modified pages is definitely an improvement imo.

Thanks! Some day I'm gonna sort that menu out so it doesn't take up an entire phone screen, haha. Haven't been in a mine since I was a little kid and visited the Big Pit in Wales but I don't think adult me would like to go in one.

Ahh thank you! The page getting a little unwieldy now, but I'm still having fun adding all my little notes to it.
Basically just more Tomodachi Life nonsense. It's consuming all my free time, help
