thanks <3 I mean to write more on her soon once I find more information on her. I really love your adam page
I haven't seen any of Breillat's other films but I plan on watching some of them soon
A word of warning: if you purpose to write to Roof, keep the tenor of your missive apolitical so that it isn't returned. Even if the body of your letter is innocuous, you may be temporarily added to a watchlist for writing him.
In my experience, two types of antinatalists are outspoken online: those afflicted with severe and heritable disabilities who may be right to forgo procreation, and dysfunctional or propagandized losers who are seeking excuses to be childless to satisfy their selfishness or allay their fear of commitment. Negative rudiments of natural selection apply to both.
What you're describing is probably consequential of partiality rather than inconsistency. These are fans who treat other shooters as though they're rival musical acts. To them, Crumbley is less a mentally ill felon than an anathema analogous to Taylor Swift or Gackt or whoever.
Moreover, if they think Crumbley's pseudonym is mortifying, they should check out Cho's selfie photoshoot, manifesto, and punctuational nickname. Yeesh.
For a second, I thought you stated that you'd purchased Roof's own sweatshirt. whoa
You're right about that, I think I'm still in some sort of denial/disbelief about people preferring certain killers over others, even though I'm guilty of it myself. I feel like I don't see Cho get brought up too often on that side of the internet. He's interesting but doesn't have "fans" like Dylan Klebold, Eric Harris, and Adam Lanza do
About the sweater, if I had the opportunity I probably would try to buy something he actually owned, but none of his belongings have ever been put up for auction besides a few letters he's written. I think it'd be more interesting to visit the locations he took his pictures at rather than own something of his
Cho was incontestably capable, but hadn't the charisma to inspire a fanbase.
Not too many years ago, I knew a guy online who traveled nationwide to visit and photograph former residences and crime scenes of spree and serial killers. He was met with a modicum of hostility by locals who were sick to death of obnoxious enthusiasts and exploitative journalists, and he was neither.
I'm not trying to discourage you from visiting such places (morbid fascination is a perennial lure), only to tread lightly if you do.
Roof has no future beyond incarceration, so there are better subjects for monomania.
I think at some point I'm going to go back and remove all mention of him from my website because there are definitely better things to focus on and I've been receiving more angry messages lately from people who seem to misunderstand what I'm trying to say
