nothing too weird happened there but i have highlights of out of pocket things: i've had a rat snake come out of a drain sink while i was cleaning the bathroom!; i adopted my second cat from the motel shortly after it was sold bc the new owners wanted to get rid of him (he was the unofficial greeter)

my favorite guests were -guy from china touring the us with his bombay cat -a german man and italian man traveling together -a group of british seniors wanting to see big bend before going back to london.

the german and italian were so funny! we spent about 15 minutes chatting before i realized they hadn't given me a name for their reservation
