Thinking of making a "Clanker Killers" webring where you need to destroy a piece of modern technology in order to join. Think of it as a non-Communist* and more engaged variant of baccyflap's "no ai" webring. I really have no clue how to put a webring together, but with the free time I'll have in the upcoming week, I hope to figure things out.

*By "non-Communist," I need to emphasize that I don't mean "anti-Communist." My reservations about baccy's webring is that Communism has a history of manifesting itself as a form of imperialism (see: Afghanistan, Chechnya, and Ukraine) which makes me uncomfortable in joining his webring. This is nothing against baccy as a person; I've emailed him before and he's actually very cordial.
With that said, I don't want there to be an explicit "Communism bad" sentiment on the webring. It was, after all, capitalist practices that brought AI to where it is now. It's just that I'm very much against the concept of bringing a single issue into a broader ideological umbrella, as doing so quickly devolves into team-picking and discarding rational thought altogether.
