its international women's day today π in my homecountry its treated as "gift your wife and mom some flowers" day and nothing else, but its worthy remembering that this in reality is a feminist day. please, stand in solidarity and listen to women, especially ones whose voices you don't usually hear (disabled / poor / queer / of color / etc) and remember that we're all people !

i wanna give special credit to fellow girls&women on this website, by the way: it makes me infinitely happy to see that the indie web, esp neocities, is full of diversity (which i struggle to say about other tech spaces)
as well as remind you all that a lot of social media algorithms are skewed to prioritizing content from men if you're a man, so next time you see a rec from a female youtuber that looks interesting or smth, click on it! let that algo know you do not like bias (as well as notice how often do you see female content creators in general, ahah... we often get harassed to quit.)
