i have been considering disabling site profile comments because i feel like it kind of destroys the purpose of this site, which was to limit direct communication while still sharing my work and whatnot, along with getting away from social media features. nothing against anyone, i genuinely appreciate all the nice things people have said to me, but i might just be too introverted >_>

perhaps this is hypocritical because i've left a couple of comments and likes on peoples' pages, i guess it just feels different for me because i'm so overly responsive to that stuff lol .

that definitely makes sense ! i do feel like i've started checking very regularly like i do with social media n i'm not sure how i feel about it... i love getting to interact w people who like my page, but it also feels a little counterproductive to the idea of neocities
