New review for SiN! I thought I knew this game inside out and it would be a quick review of an old run and gun FPS. I was so wrong. There is so much going on in this game and I still don't know if I like it.
My gf and I alike are big 90s FPS fans and SiN was one of her GOG sale finds that we've barely touched but do like what we've tried of it. I did hear the "make you my bitch" line which I'll confess did make me laugh, mainly because it was delivered so damn flatly and awkwardly with zero emotion whatsoever. The talk of hyped up nonlinearity in an ultimately linear game with secrets is also giving me Turrican vibes
I think I have seen promos on magazines back then and later watched the movie but only recently I played the game, I also couldn't help comparing to Half-Life and Deus Ex, although unfovaroble to both (history not as intriguing as Half-Life and game mechanics not as great as Deus Ex), still it was quite fun with its more fast paced combat, I also quite liked how you use terminal using DOS commands
@overclocked Turrican is the last recent review I have to catch up on from your site! You made me laugh you are right that line is delivered very nice and politely. I do somehow like and loath it at the same time, it's definitely worth a go.

it's really just basic DOS commands, but it feels so h4x0r typing in the terminal :P

@pirahxcx Wow you watched the movie as well. There are dozens of us! Were you disappointed it was so different?
I watched the anime long ago, I don't remember the story very well anymore :P (and I played SiN for the first time one or two months ago)
