Afternoon all! Music question for you, does anyone have any punk songs they’d like to share? I’ve been exploring that genre more and would love some recommendations!
Antidote is a Dutch punk band, a fun album is 'Back in Year Zero' . The Decendents with stuff like 'Good Good Things' is one of my favs. I'm personally into certain parts of The Misfits and love songs like 'Horror Business'. Stuff more on the poppy side is NOFX with stuff 'Seeing Double At Triple Rock'. Another one in the same vein is The Vandals with 'Stare At The Sun' or 'The New You'
queer punk: sweet cis teen by dazey and the scouts | folk punk: the hand that feeds by the crane wives, people & people ii by ajj, i listened by apes of the state,,,,,,,, i love folk punk its probably NOT what youre looking for but thought id share 💛!!!!!
New Rose by The Damned is an all time favourite bop from the first wave. For a second wave epic that begins as Anarcho Punk and weaves in Reggae try Cradle to the Grave by Subhumans. For one of the greatest punk covers you might try Free Money by Penetration. If you're feeling something slightly arch and discordant with a feminist angle, try anything from the album Penis Envy by Crass. Universe be with U
