I mean, get capital punishment, but making it public's just poor taste because it's aim is also to make a human's death entertaining for a crowd. Depending on who's being executed (say Hitler), it has its purpose, but I'm surprised there are people who genuinely wish to bring them back like they ought to be a normal thing. An evil desire to be sure. They probably just want to see heads roll.
