I forgot to say - I've also been hard at work debugging my own site, and am reaching a point I feel mostly satisfied now. Accessibility features have been added for users that have prefers-reduced-motion on, and mobile layout should be accessible site-wide. Alt text is being added slowly as I rework other pages.
