I've played it on both MSX and Famicom. Got cooked both times! (First Famicom game I ever owned, back when the only way to play such games in the US was with a top-loader and Gyromite converter.... dark times!)... And yes a lot of these old computers look like PHAT KEYBOARDS; a horizontal motherboard is under the keys and there are ports all along the sides/back. In America the C64, Amiga, TI-99/4A, Tandy Color, etc.
Bone was right, Romancia is unplayable. The double jump is ridiculous, I can't imagine why they made it like that. It must have been some mistake.
