I'm like 99% confirmed they just feed you brainwashing inducing goyslop instead of communion at Protestant churches in the US. Its just like how Ted Cruz swears on his life his pastor told him to kill every American to stop even one Israeli from getting their ankle sprained.

I don't exactly want to participate in mud-slinging between the denominations but, besides the Evangelicals, fundementalists are also extraoridinarily hateful (or at least the baptist flavour are). Between literal bible burning (any Bible but the KJV is from the devil apparently) to singing nation worship in church instead of repentant hymns, theyre... Well with my experience, Christianity in the US is terrible.

I really believe that a significant portion of protestants produce more atheists in their children than good fruit. I see it in my mother who has been so traumatized by them that she can't go to church. I see it when they threaten people with Hell if they don't convert (which besides being fucking stupid, it never WORKS). I see it in the weak boys they produce and cowardly or angry fathers.

Obviously that's not the end of it. I've found many lovely friends from differing denominations. Absolutely none of them are baptist tho. And besides that, I can't actually find any point where my friends really disagree on anything theologically. It's almost like your denomination doesn't actually matter if you love God and seek to learn about His nature through his word or readings from theologians past. A concept.

(And it's just so happened that none of them are baptist, I'm not picking them out of my friend group specifically... any friend I had who was baptist has gone away from that world though lol).

Things tend to get bastardized in the United States. Not just with religion. People here tend to grift on anything they can latch onto and exploit for their own benefit.

The silver lining is in the horizon or at least I hope so. Younger generations are starting to understand the hypocracy going on right now. I don't know if it the damage can be reversed but such behavior is being frounded upon which is a good sign.
