Frs I still kinda miss neocities and my followers, so I'll try to deploy to neocities and nekoweb in same time if possible, although I need to ask the webring creators about it. Also in future, I wouldn't be active on neocities expect check some responses or new followers, call me via guestbook if got any questions.

Turned out neocities got blocked my Taiwanese government because there's sexual abuse contents on there, so that's why I couldn't enter Neocities until open the VPN, I'll move my website to Nekoweb or NearlyFreeSpeech.NET (Since it's one pay to go, but I heard it has some controversy, you guys recommend it or nah?)

oh geez, thats so unfortunate. i have heard good things about nekoweb! haven't seen NearlyFreeSpeech.NET before, so i dont really have a good idea of it. i wish you well, though.

I've never heard of nearlyfreespeech but their wiki makes them look a little sus... I recall a few neocities people switched to digitalocean at one point, but I don't know too much about their buissness, and they seem to be a pretty corporate focused shop these days.

NearlyFreeSpeech does allow hate speech, but hateful sites pay more and their money goes towards relevant charities according to their FAQ. Nekoweb is hosted in Germany, which has strict censorship laws... dunno how that would affect you as a Tawainese citizen, I'd say try out Nekoweb first as it's free.

Same when tried to find any information from Taiwan, the only source is the DNS RPZ written about sexual abuse, I have no idea what going on here

This is so bizarre to me, but then Neocities is technically a web server with very lite or no moderation by the creator... I would hope news like this might spur some action to improve Neocities but I'm used to disappointment when it comes to this. My best advice is buy a web service from a reputable long-standing provider.
