I use the second for my website. I think it's easier to make it like that since you can read a lot, it's kind of like a Twitter/Tumblr feed which I think people are more used to. But if you're writing long-form blog posts, you might want to make that into a separate page instead.

everything in seperate pages, that's my camp. Anything too small or not unique enough for its own page can get a footnote somewhere on the main page or wherever it's most relevant, but no more than that. A messy webpage is very much an artistic choice with the webmaster of course, but personally I find it both easier to read and develope when things are neatly organized.

i do both because i find restricting myself purely to pages makes me less motivated to write, but longer more serious topics get separate pages
