thank you for the comment in my chatbox! i absolutely adore the piece you wrote about boundaries online & offline. as i've gotten older, i've recognized where i need to have boundaries with where i direct my energy and how i spend it. i spent the majority of my 20s protesting and keyboard warrioring online, which was very exhausting. i got my BA in philosophy as well, so it really was all about turning
φιλοσοφία into πρᾶξις. after putting myself in danger, getting hurt, and being traumatized on the ground fighting in the name of social justice, i realized that just the act of continuing to survive in a society that exploits is also an act of revolution. i'm an anarcho-syndicalist, but i live under capitalism, so i do what i need to do to survive! as should everyone, bc as individuals, we can only do so much,
and we still have lives we need to live. care for yourself, care for your local community as much as you can, and then if you have the capacity, go further than that. i serve my community by working at a nonprofit that fights the affordable housing crisis, and that's as deep as i'll get in continuing my activism,
dear kkbkkb, thank you so much for taking the time to read my writing, it really means a lot to me 🖤 many of your experiences i can relate to. it is frustrating how the internet measures an ACTION not by how much MATERIAL REALITY has shifted, but by the NOISE & ANGER it generates. what use are our negative feelings if not mobilized for an actual revolution; what use is radicalizing someone in another continent when-
we cannot even radicalize our neighbor? you have been through so much, and to be rooted in community still despite all, is not easy. 🖤 a very redundant side note, i'm very sorry, but i think my capacity for neocities feed speed (?) has reached its limit, i may not follow back. i hope you do not mind, and do not take it personally if you unfollow too! when i have time i will check your site out. love to u kkb🖤
i have caught up with your site! love the cute pixels and cannot wait for your art page if you plan on updating it. you are the 59th and the last person i will follow on here now, any more and i will lose track of who i'm friends with which gives me too much anxiety so... thank you for being my latest and last friend on here 😁

bc i can recognize where the pulse of my community needs me and where that limit ends, and where my needs as an individual begin.
