Could any of you guys share how you made your site buttons, if you've created one from scratch? I'm looking at making a more "professional" button soon and struggling to find out which software and techniques will help.

ive seen, this maybe? https://hekate2.github.io/buttonmaker/ Personally I made my buttons in clip studio paint and make it 88x31. I make the frames for it into a gif, that I put into https://ezgif.com (when I dont feel like using CSP or PS lmao)
heck, you could use mspaint to make one even! and use ezgif to put the frames together if you want it to be a gif!
Mine was pretty simple. Just a few minutes into GIMP, with a PNG of my fursona and a background.
I used Aseprite (a software dedicated to pixel art — the free version is Libresprite)! It can animate and export as gif as well

I've used aseprite too, it's really good for any pixel art or tiny images, it also exists as a free version with the name libresprite I think!
