i'm not sure why folks are freaking out about the kyle drake post now. the post is from last year - i even wrote about it over on down the ladder at the time because it was "in the news," so to speak. i totally understand the case for a scorched earth approach to gen ai, especially here, but why is this conversation happening now exactly? who brought it back into the discourse?

I can listen to music I like during boring tasks but I do associate certain songs with specific moments, and I also am known to shuffle through my playlist until I find the perfect song for folding laundry or making a sandwhich or whatever haha.

depending on when you sign up it takes abt 5-7 days for an email response, unless it *has* been that long

I'm not for sure if it's manual or not, but it seems like it if there's quite a bit of time before confirmation emails are sent out
is status.cafe the best status service rn or is there a better one

ytoo.org lists a few status services, some reminiscent of old twitter, but as far as I know ppl use status.cafe the most bcuz of how simple it is and isn't rly another social media site, rather a glorified widget (that allows theme customization if you're willing to code it)
