pushed a sneaky little update. Fixed a tiny css issue but also removed the top bar from everywhere except the front page. Decided the front page is the only place I wanted the rolling ticker text.
Also fun fact: if you hover (or touch) the navbar, the ticker will pause until you take your mouse away from it. so you don't have to worry about waiting for it to loop back.
Updated the CSS. Changed the color palette a bit and tweaked a couple of things. Might make more tweaks later. You might need to ctrl+shift+r to see it though. (eventually it should update by itself though)

Oh man I get so embarassed whenever I look through other sites and then look at my own that looks so horribly plain by comparison aahh. I see a lot of cool old web designs that I kind of wish I could emulate but i am a newbie/im old and my eyesight is bad so trying to read tiny fonts hurts my brain after a while. but MANNN they look so beautiful 🥺 I want everyone I follow to know that all your sites look amazing

Aww minty pls don’t be embarrassed. If it helps, I find it better to do a little at a time on my site. If I thought about huge or complicated updates I’d explode lol. Also it helps with not getting overwhelmed too. Try not to compare yourself but be inspired by those cool sites instead :) also it’s fine to go more simple with stuff anyway! I chose a basic format then kept building on it. I don’t know yet how to do
