Yeah, a lot better than getting login-walled by artists that refuse to leave Twitter or Instagram. We can only hope they finally make the jump to the indie web someday......

my strat for particularly x formerly known as twitter: view accounts thru a nitter instance. however i Do feel the pain of that as well......
