As youtube is instating ai age verification that works by combing your search history, I recomend to get an odysee account. I'm already recognizing some fairly popular youtubers moving over to it. If youtube deems you a child by your watch history, to appeal you will have to provide either a picture of a physical id or a selfie. This is not about the kids, you already know that.

It's about control and surveillance. If it comes down to it DO NOT give them your id. Don't give them a selfie even if your face is already on youtube do not comply.
Complain about it. Complain everywhere you can. Tell your friends. Tell your favorite youtubers. Mail youtube. Do anything you can
