Does it matter? A platform like this is up for your own usage; and there is no fault in wishing to talk about heavier topics. It's often cathartic. Alongside the fact that you can't control how other (mostly anonymous) people react to your work. So, if you want a stranger's advice, do not stop because of fear but rather reasoning.
I'm more worried about my own joy in this site becoming tainted. I try to be aware of the world and dance regardless but so easily the things I enjoy become tainted by dread by association. But, maybe you're right. It will save me annoyance down the line anyways because I will have pre-emptively have scared away softies
im def doing better then when i wrote that LOL!!! thank u sm for taking the time to comment, it was SUPER INSANE when it was all happening..
I am once again asking for feedback (i open my mouth like a baby bird)
i think your blog is good, the format of neocities and small web is kind of isolated since its less social than social media and theres not really a comments section per post but heres me engaging :)
Yah that's why I have the chatbox up. Maybe I should put one on the blog too? Thanks :)
And there's no point in having a website except to showcase art, I guess.
i like reading people's blog posts. i like when ppl read mine too, but i also don't really care if people don't read them bc most of the time i'm just dumping my stream of consciousness. i love seeing the way people make their blogs on their websites, i'll make a habit of checking yours! :3
Thanks. I know I'm coming off cranky big time but you don't really have an obligation to do that unless you really wanna. I was just wondering because people never respond to or discuss my posts even though I talk about them on my profile. Maybe I have silent readers. I don't wanna be famous by any means but I'd like to think I'm more than an aesthetic
you're totally fine!! i really want people looking at my website, too. like, what's even the point of having a website if ppl aren't visiting it?! i totally get it lol. honestly i've found that just engaging with other ppl on neocities and leaving comments in ppl's guestbooks, chatboxes, and on their profiles is a great way to build connections which will thus encourage ppl to check your website more frequently!!
Real honestly, but I write blog posts because its more aesthetic to me do so online, also my handwriting sucks.
Thank you! ★ I really appreciate it
