I still need to organize everything, finish setting up the Tumblr blog, and edit some small things and then I'll create a page for it on my site that'll include a .ZIP file to everything I have found.
I don't know exactly how long that'll take but hopefully not a whole other month XD! I didn't expect this archival project to take so long, but also I haven't really done a proper archival before so this gives me a better idea in the future what to plan for.
As much as I wanna continue searching, I am quite burnt out from it and do need to move onto other projects/things for my own sake. I'll still add onto the archive over time but once I release it I'm gonna take a huge break from any kind of archival for a good while. I did want to do my Blueycapsules archive afterwards but thats also gonna be put on hold for a long while.
It has over 3,500+ files, with over 2,500 being just images alone (the rest being .TXT files to give info on everything). Definetely a lot more than I planned for! And a lot more out there than I remembered as a kid.
This is specifically JUST for the original FNAF AU, it is not covering the official 2019 revival (which I wasn't even aware was a thing until doing research). A lot was drawn in the span of 7 months!
archival stuff is so incredibly taxing, honestly congrats on archiving THAT much!!!! Insane amount of work, Hope you're well!!!!+
I've also been taking it slow at some point as to not burn myself out. I haven't counted the exact amount but there is well over a thousand or more images.
Some of these posts too I've been finding only ever had under 100 notes. Stuff I never even saw back in the day and its kind of crazy.
I want to find as much as I can, I'd hate for any of this to become fully lost. I have encountered some stuff already that cannot be recovered (such as certain audios), so I wanna get as much as I can.
This archive is only covering the original FNAF AU, which only ran for a few months from 2014 to 2015. Its crazy how much artwork was produced for this AU during that time.
Figured I'd add a detailed warning page to the Landing page since my other site has one.
Also, I wonder if any TWST webrings exist? I'd love to make one sometime in the future if not.
Whatever happens in the world, I'm still going to be unapologetically my queer self. My site will always be a queer friendly space too (and I guess Dinosaur friendly as well)
