My artworks are actually reaching actual humans on Bluesky, and I get to meet my mutuals again! I'm really glad I went to that transition! I also managed to get my archived data from Twitter, then deleted most of my works there--I'll still use it to promote my stuff and to open my DMs (and to archive more stupidity from 3l0n, p*l*ticians, etc.). There's a lot of thoughts I'll write for the next blog entry.

I've noticed the same, Bsky is definitely an improvement over Twitter so far

Every developer and the community made it possible, and they even made X lose its top ranking in the app store. It's just neat that they prioritize users' experience (and relevancy of the posts) overall

Hi, I'm sharing this summary of Elon's 'crimes against humanity' (or whatever you want to call it): https://twitter.com/USMCLiberal/status/1855252949745733978

Just in case you need this to archive as a receipt, you can use extensions like SaveWE or SingleFile to download the page you're seeing. Even better if you download the video as well (via tools online).

This will be part of my archives. Right now I have copies of both the webpage and the video itself.

Doing art so no webdev updates for the meantime. I'll also make fixes on reducing animations to some embeds when I come back (and also just add other pages if possible).

It's exhausting to argue about the harms of Gen AI in the internet when I could've just used the time to work on my pieces and website. I don't even know at this point that even with the access to the web, they can't bother to read news and studies about it, even just for a brief moment. They can also just scan these articles if they don't have enough time at a day, and just come back to them later.

We're experiencing a severe drop in interest in critical thinking and media literacy. Its rly bleak and sad, but I have hope people will hit a wall with this and what it can actually do. Good for you for arguing, tbh, even though I'm sorry you had to! Its encouraging to see other people caring and voicing it.

Unfortunately, that's really the case nowadays. Social media is designed just so that users are getting used on having little attention span, believing news (rumors even) without checking out the sources, and most likely disseminating misinformation--Tiktok for instance is a plague, especially for the younger audience. Frankly I believe that with illiteracy, mass consumers are more prone to control.

Hence, the more power they have to abuse the algorithms, these Gen AI 'tools' even, the easier for them to control the users to spread false information, hate, and even being desensitized to humanity (especially for everyone's advancement). A lot of people don't even recognize the repurcussions voting solely for their pride, to prove to others that they're the 'winners' to the election, which is just utterly absurd.

Updated my webpages to be accessible to users with vestibular disorder, and so animations are turned off at prefers-reduced-motion media query or reduced animations in the OS' settings. For more info: https://web.dev/articles/prefers-reduced-motion#motion-triggered_vestibular_spectrum_disorder
