lithium, thank you ^^; yeah i was pretty pissed off lol. it's been addressed and they refunded me and the mods of the comm have also stepped in to tell them they cant offer services but...yeah. i am still just shocked that someone who is into jfashion and knows how expensive this stuff is was fine with being so flippant about my clothes and did all that to them. at least it can be fixed...it'll just take a while orz
tkr, i've been thinking about writing smth a little more at length abt this but there aren't a lot of ppl in my comm who are interested in the like...archival elements of the fashion? i get blank stares every time i bring up cornet so i think i'm the only person who really knows abt them... anyway the cornet JSK was treated MUCH worse than the BTSSB one (although that was still bad) and i think that's why T_T
hm, maybe it's time to introduce them to more brands. most people will reach for what's more accessible (can you believe it, accessible and lolita brand clothes in the same sentence) and cornet is just simply harder to find. hosting panels talking about these lesser known brands is a fun pitch, before they fade into obscurity
my friends and i love to bounce off of each other's styles/interpretations of the lolita look, so that's how we came across stigmata/sdl, stone angel, suppurate system, and beauty beast. it's likely that other comm members are moreso trying to emulate specifically how the pioneer brand stock models style themselves. everyone wants to look like the spitting image of old school baby (and i can't blame them)
tkr: thank you! me too lol. a panel going into os defunct brands could be fun & rewarding, i think you have the right idea here ^_^ a lot of my comm members are into more modern sweet & classic looks, im kind of the only old schooler (who shows up semi-regularly anyways). i introduced a good chunk of them to maxicimam a few weeks ago even
luckily the tailor seems confident in her ability to restore my pieces, its just gonna be an arduous (+ expensive...) process orz. but oh well, nothing time and budgeting wont solve
Sorry to hear what someone did to your pieces. That's so disrespectful of them. :(

i'd get violent if someone did anything to my btssb stuff, let alone if i owned any cornet

hope your pieces can be safely revived. with how rare cornet is i wouldn't be able to forgive that girl lol
