If anyone is wondering what this is - copying psuedocode text from an online textbook for one of my courses doesn't work properly. Instead of manually adjusting it every time, I wrote a page to help with copying and pasting it with some formatting as well :D (just like the geeks/non-geeks automating meme lol)

And the comments in the source code are right, those regexes took a good bit of manipulation to get them to work 😅
