Snails are another nematode host, interestingly. I used to keep snails and I always had to be cautious bringing in wild ones.

That is interesting, I will add that! I collect wild crickets in the summer for my lizard, and I worry about similar things. Thanks again for the interesting bit of info :-)

I have some Pearl Fee variety hatching eggs coming in the mail either tomorrow or monday! I will probably update my quail variety page with some more info on the Fee gene.
