It's a bit early to be raising and releasing caterpillars, but I thought I'd get started on this page anyways. I will probably work on some pretty Clara Dillingham Pierson style illustrations for this page too. (I highly recommend her books- I have been reading them since I was little and they are perfect for people of any age imho.

Four days until the pearl quail eggs hatch! I will put pictures of them up on my site once they do hatch.

Snails are another nematode host, interestingly. I used to keep snails and I always had to be cautious bringing in wild ones.

That is interesting, I will add that! I collect wild crickets in the summer for my lizard, and I worry about similar things. Thanks again for the interesting bit of info :-)
