does anyone know if its possible to have url rewriting when neocities doesnt allow a .htaccess file? i swear ive seen some sites w it but i have no braincell and cant figure out how.
If all you're looking to do is chop off the .html from file names, you can put them in their own folders as “index.html” — e.g. my /shrines/apollo page is actually at /shrines/apollo/index.html
(this is pretty useful for organising stuff as well because you can put images and other such things in the folders of the pages they're used on and stop them cluttering up the dashboard)
