defined a "vertex shader" using opengl and produced a triangle. Incredible. in other news I am optimistically ~75% done with the next chapter, linework for first 28 pages is done but the draft for what happens after this is actually incomplete so will probably be a while until it comes out

finally set up opengl. after i finish this chapter, then i will get to work like a real professional
