i love your website and your fountain pen and ink collection is super cool!! i have the same problems with oxblood's redness and have been meaning to look for a new red so i might have to check out writer's blood! :)

I have a Japanese copy of Dogra Magra, I've been waiting to try to read it until I've gotten better at kanji... hope an English translation is released someday!

@mar that's soooo cool!! i'm terrible with kanji too T_T i want to try to download some JPN VNs to try and speedrun learning it (something like clannad or air, maybe, with an easily toggleable english translation?) but havent yet. you should totally watch the movie, im gonna wait to see it in the theater, but id be curious to hear your thoughts!

@mousecky i hope so too! it would be a delight to see dogra magra get its flowers it so clearly deserves. are the two you are speaking of the jpn->french->eng translation and the in-progress reddit translation? you should also watch the movie and totally write your thoughts about it

The JP->FR->EN translation is just a mess (footnotes left in where there's no explanations, French quotation marks without their pairs, passages that might repeat in the original but I can't be sure with this goddamn editing, typoes...) and the other one is this one on the Amazon marketplace which I illegally downloaded for my Kindle which is very obviously done with AI. Both were just far too frustrating for me!

hi i just wanted to say your perfume collection is insane, i'm obsessed HAHAHAHA i need to smell fantome's nambe bc it's giving It (2017) also all the electric/machine adjacent scents. and i'm taking note of all the rice/paper scents wow... this whole page is so fun AHAHHA <33 (and so are the rest of your shrines, i love your writing!!)

omg thank you!! i am so behind on updating it if you can believe it but at least most of them are samples. namba is wonderful, my fave aquatic in my collection easily. the motor oil is pretty prominent but the waffle cone note from the ice cream plays enough off of it to still make it kind of sweet. just one of a kind!

BPAL had a collection for the last full moon called idle moon and i just picked up their duet "jasmine rice and white musk" and i am OBSESSED...haven't added it to the page yet but i highly recommend snagging a bottle before it leaves their site if those scents are your vibe because it just might be my favorite. poesie's soft is great but it doesn't last very long on my skin and i like how the musk warms this one.

i'm so intrigued by the motor oil note, i love like, the smell of gasoline in basement parking HAHAHAHHA also all of the fragrances by fyrinnae you listed down are super cool (skiing on europa... the desc reminds me of zoologists penguin except less green, more void)

oh my god that must smell heavenly, you're on my rob list HAHAHAHHAHA unfortunately, it's difficult to find ways to ship from niche perfume houses so i'll need to rely on living vicariously through you for now LMAO i have like, only one local shop that produces fun, atypical scents :')

ahhh true being outside of the USA does make shipping on perfumes maddeningly expensive... :pensive: i have heard fyrinnae and zoologist get compared before though too!!! so there must be smth there..

i'm definitely curious to sample some toskovat perfumes someday. they have such a bizarre reputation lol. i'm glad you can still get some fun perfumes in your area though!!!

does anyone know if theres a tool or setting somewhere to turn off seeing your follower count / view count etc? i dont want to disable my profile so people can follow me if they so wish & vice versa but i don't want to see these things

try Stylus extension, you can set css rule to apply on specific URL (your profile page, neocities root)
