A podcast called Redfem did an episode on Aristasia. Redfem, eh? Must be Marxists, so they’ll focus on dismantling the fascist aspects, surely? Nope! They’re TERFs, pushing a (false) narrative about Aristasia as a feminization fetish. They purposefully misgender people involved. I won’t be paying for the podcast - their Twitter tells me enough! https://x.com/Redfempod/status/1813998722524541231
If Twitter was not such a nuclear wasteland, it might be worth it to try debating these losers. Some people say it is wrong and pointless to argue with bigots. I don't believe that - flame wars do have a certain place online because they can and do often change the minds of lurkers, if not the interlocutors...
I've a question about my site's theme! Given Aristasia's extremely problematic history (touching on topics like consent, fascism, abuse, etc...), is it appropriate to use such a twee layout on my site about it? Share your thoughts in a poll here. https://aristasia.guide/#frills
The videos page now includes links to playthroughs of some of the strangest titles produced by the Silver Sisterhood while running St. Bride's School, including Silverwolf and Jack the Ripper. https://aristasia.guide/kinema
When I discovered Aristasia online, I was quickly enmeshed in strange roleplaying ("life theatre"), gathering tidbits of lore about Aristasia Pura, and reading about "Estrenne lightgames." How did all this transpire? A bit about it here: https://aristasia.guide/online#early
