have you every tried somatic exercises or vagus nerve exercises? they can help release bodily tension and be good ways to self soothe and stim. wishing you well ૮ ᴖﻌᴖა

thank u for the suggestion! i might as well try, yknow? i've tried some vagus nerve stuff before but mine is *over*active so not much success on that one in the past.
