i want to password protect a directory on my site and according to The Internet i need to use an .htaccess file but when i created it it doesn't show up with the rest of my files.. maybe its a supporter only feature? hhgh

WELL im looking into it more and idk how true it is but, the gorillaz twitter changed their profile pic and tweeted something vague and everybody is going nuts

password protection uses stuff like php, which neocities doesn't support. there's lots of javascript password protections stuff though. just google "js password protect github". :)
