Despite being called HMS Surprise, this one is only a replica and was never commissioned by the Royal Navy. The real Surprise was destroyed in like, 1802 iirc. The replica is the one they used for the movie and they had it all decorated and it was really special. I wanted to include that in my blog but I don't want the entries to start getting too long. I'm really autistic about naval history.
@ Oscarthesailor Amazing! They are absolutely incredible to see up close, pictures don’t really do them any justice. The speedboats and ferries I see day-to-day are so boring in comparison.

Beautiful! My friend just sent me pictures of a tallship last night. I guess it's Tallship Week!
