as an internet archaeologist (a title my boyfriend gave me and I gladly took), i've been spending so much time exploring websites on neocities because i love doing it, but i'm having a hard time when it comes to building things myself again

i have a lot of projects that i haven't touched in quite a while now, and because i've already seen great executions here of pages i thought about a long time ago, i now find it hard to continue some of them... hopefully i can get some inspiration back soon

they say comparison is the thief of joy! and even if others have created similar things, no one else can bring forth exactly what is yours to make. i think it would be sad to deprive the world of your voice. that said, i understand your feelings. in these cases, remembering this helps me: "action is not the result of motivation, but the cause of it"
