The Great Blue Heron, from googles images at least, seems to be the species of the Heron from The Boy and The Heron if I am not mistaken. They seem really big!
My Little Wren : I always think of that movie when I see them, despite that they fill my childhood memories : they hung out in our city's many flood control channels.
My Great Gull, I think you might like the Tuiuiús and Curicacas, two endemic birds that I’ve had the pleasure to see in person. They too, are very big, and resemble a lot some kind of dinosaurs species. I used to be afraid of the later, when they would roam the soccer field near my apartment building in groups.
Aw, poor kidWren. . . That reminds me of how Michael got chased by a goose as a kid; it even bit his clothes. I'd love to see Tuiuiús and Curicacas when I live in Brazil. Also, tuiuiú is a really cool (Tupi-derived!) word.
That guy Michael seems really handsome; always nice to see photos of him !!!
PS I'm Your Number One Fan loneliwish !!!

My Little Wren, Pt. 2 : They are huge ! One of the largest birds I've ever seen, excluding large birds that cannot fly such as Ratites.
