Honestly, you're right about how responsiveness takes away creativity with layout-making... "Would this be easy to make responsive?" held me back from being more creative beyond single column.
It definitely does stifle creativity! Terms like responsiveness, ux, visual hierarchy etc just remind me of modern corporate web design personally, can't help it lmao. Great new layout btw!
