instead of sleeping, i've gone and drafted blog posts on vulnerability, death, divinity, work, relationships, my mother, ai, and expedition 33. it is incredibly discomfiting, but also deeply satisfying, enlightening, and perhaps therapeutic.

it's rare to see someone on this site outright integrating LLMs into their workflow, as many of them are rightfully against AI usage in certain creative spaces that infringe on human creaticity. in the wider internet it's rare to see people not just using it for... i don't know the word to describe it but using LLMs without awareness of its limitations.

in my approach to my site, there's a constant tug-of-war between aesthetic restraint versus my crow brain screaming "shiny!". every time i vow to keep things simple and clean, i end up hoarding design gimmicks like some digital dragon.

it was an attempt at the "write drunk, edit sober" method and the "write drunk" part went well. the whisky was delicious, perhaps too much so, and i over-indulged. alas, it is now morning and I must take the consequences of my decision out into the world of overwhelming light and noise.
