I haven't followed Chris Chan Stuff lately but I doubt that so called "Finnish" girl is actually his girlfriend. The whole pregnancy alarm turned out to be not true.

A lot of so-called people with girlfriends online are not having relationships because they are necessarily attractive. I think people want to be around them for the sake of association. To be part of something that's famous or infamous.

To put it politely, it's flies being attracted to trash.

There's this trend of people with relationships having all of their personal private details being leaked out. Turns out people who "Had Sex" are just sexually depraved to the point of doing incredibly humiliating acts just to one up someone online. It's not a good look for them.

@Wizard, flies being attracted to trash is still a match for better or worse. With Chris-Chan, I know people date for reasons outside of love, but I'll give credit where credit's due. Chris met a girl he can walk the town with, and he's probably too retarded to know she's strumming him along. Happens to a lot of guys, but they still count it as "experience" in this depraved world.

This aside, I think it's good to consider that if God will allow His people a fake happiness like in Chris's case, He will grant true happiness for those who keep His commands.
