i found the issue. i was missing a / in the js and css file reference, i might just go jump into a well now

Also just wanted to share this: If your site currently links to t00blez on Neocites, I recommend either removing the link or changing it to an Internet Archive link. It looks like t00blez' site was removed and replace with a redirect to an adult cam site...

my website is now a whole 2 megabytes smaller thanks to a few optimizations (or just one optimization, originally i used a very large image for the background of opal's webpage... now its just a 10kb gif)
the two characters i have w/ actual artwork now have lytebox galleries, wahoo !
