I'm getting to know the issues peeps have been having with their sites now. I think the reason it hadn't been affecting me yet is because lately I've been doing one, big edit to certain pages, but the issues with my site not updating occurs when I try to update the same file more than once (like when I go in to do small tweaks)

Yeah that adds up with my experiences. I also read your reply about an external editor, might give it a go, thanks for the suggestion!

Feeling sleepless and frisky, might edit that section under my sites to see page to look a bit more fun
Makin a new thread cuz responding to an old one might be buried: I don't want to assume things, so I'll ask, do you use only the Neocities editor to make changes to your site? :o

Yeah I just use the Neocities editor.

In that case, I would recommend trying a dedicated text editor to make changes instead. There isn't a priority on which one you use as long as it can download a live server plugin, which allows you to make changes to your site and preview them (works offline from my experience). Still have to copy the changes onto NC, but at least you can preview the changes instantly beforehand.

Haha so is everyone still having issues w/ saving their sites
Last night, I briefly tried using a dedicated text editor instead of the one that comes with Neocities. If you're following me and haven't made the switch yet, I'd recommend it! Being able to autocomplete tags is one thing, but I really like not having to flip back and forth between all those Neocities pages to find where I put my images.

For the curious, the text editor I used was Atom and this is what the layout looks like (https://i.imgur.com/jGgl9SM.png). The theme is not the default theme, but it's close to the default layout

Depending on which editor you use, it's also totally possible to make updates to your site while offline (should not be confused to mean your Neocities site while offline). Atom has a live server package that does just this.
