Quality has been declining. I do not wish to go on a 737 MAX unless I absolutely have to. The 787 is crappy (the windows can be locked by stewardesses) as well.
Could you perhaps elaborate on the 787 claim? I'm about to fly two legs on two 787s in about three months and so far I'm quite excited about it as I've never flown them before.
I mean one aspect of the flights being that I always fly trans-pacific if I were to get on them. Departs and arrives at night. Middle of flight, daytime. If someone wants to let in light, or see outside, he cannot. Windows dimmable = locked by stewardesses. Nothing else does this.
