Ty !! (◍•ᴗ•◍) Just gave the Chicago demo a listen — wow, the crackling organ and constant motoric strumming of the guitar gave it a heavy feeling.
I could really sense the wired, pent-up tension at the core of the song that the layered voices, intermittent percussion, and horns of the final version give relief from. Thanks for sharing it with me Vashti
I'm glad you enjoyed it; it's almost like a completely new song, hm? I find the album version to be cinematic, but the demo version to have a sort of raw intensity to it. I feel like I could scream along to the demo, you know, voice cracking?
