okay after taking a look internally, i'm sorry for commenting on your profile like that. i really did like the resources on your site as i was browsing, but some of the people you associate with are anti-thetical to my believes and identity. apologies for the harshness, it's just that "radical feminism" is not the type of feminism i thought you'd associate with considering the emphasis on bisexuality, which i am

Hello, Mormo! I’m not trying to hide my beliefs or trick anyone or anything like that. And, of course, it’s totally fine to disagree with me and anything I say — I encourage you to do so, in fact! The point of Neocities and its vision of reviving the old web is to get people to think for themselves and create the sites they would like to read, without falling into the mob-mentality endemic to modern day social media.

For example, I created this site mostly because I noticed that the feminism and history tags on Neocities are really underpopulated. I also just wanted a way to keep track of my personal attempts to: a) read more about woman’s history and b) try to better understand how historical woman have viewed themselves and how they’ve been viewed by others.

While doing this, I am admittedly taking a “radical” (that is, ”from the root”) approach to this study, meaning I am looking at the cultural systems in place that oppress women and their effects, both on a large and small scale. I’ve already written a few essays about why I think this is the most practical and logical method to study history, but I acknowledge that it’s not the only way.

Since you seem to be at least somewhat interested in issues like women’s history and lesbian identity, etc, I would genuinely love to hear your thoughts on similar topics if you have a different way of looking at it! Do you have any good books or articles to recommend, maybe? Whether you would be interested in talking more or not, I hope you have a nice rest of your day! ^^

(Sorry if this didn’t make sense, it’s kind of late and I just got out of a ten hour shift at work…)
