as someone who also lost our own pupper 5 years ago, it was the same heartbreak :( so onset, sudden organ failure, and hes been like a little brother to me as well for 11 years, almost half of my life when that time came. we had to put him down ourselves, it hurt more to see him hurt. im sending you all the love, as someone who also knows the pain. i also want to make a shrine for our bubby one day, it is a good idea
I'm so sorry, about 4 and 5 years ago I also lost two of my dogs ;;; One died from essentially heart failure, I still beat myself up to this day bc I wanted to spend more time with him when I should have gone to put him down sooner instead of having him struggle. It's REALLY hard to make decisions like that, dogs have so much love in them, it sucks so much to see them like this.
