Re Cat Hair Moustache: I guess adventure/puzzle games should be categorised further as player expectations differ. I, for one, get an unhappy deflated feeling if I am reduced to using a walkthrough, and my own sense of failure becomes the failure of the game.

I feel the same about the 'undesirables' in the plant and animal kingdoms. The mental gymnastics it takes for people to absolutely hate the grey squirrels whilst loving the red ones is just weird.
