realized today that my spacelog tables were taking the HTML and color-styling into account when organizing (not what I wanted!!) and spent 30 minutes troubleshooting only for the fix to be switching from innerHTML to textContent - god bless stackoverflow, the wealth of knowledge is so helpful. javascript make brain hurt, but I am learning!!
