That's a wonderful quote! Normiefication, social media, and censorship/cancel "culture" have by-large destroyed the individuality and creativity of the old Internet. We still have the old Web 1.0 web but it's as if our country is under hostile occupation by NPC hordes...
I've seen at least one person complain that Neocities doesn't have a "website-builder", and I'm quite thankful that it doesn't. The fact that people have to learn how to create their own website in order to participate does wonders to safeguard us from the lazy, simple-minded enemy swarms.
