Two major page updates today: OCtober 2025 page is set up; challenge will start on the 1st. Also a new Dudesverse fanfic -- heads up that it's the spiciest thing I've ever written and borders on NSFW, but there's also plenty of characterization and weird biology in it. More standard fanfic backlog stories coming soon, I promise. This just got into my head and wouldn't leave.

finally got it onto peertube, after, like, 2 hours of uploading. I have no idea when it's gonna be done transcoding or how I'm going to get it to roughly a 10th of its size so it fits on Catbox to embed. (psst: anybody know a video hoster that allows larger files and HTML embedding? filegarden stops at 100 megs)

Slides and backup audio I recorded on my phone are up. Video, with better quality audio, will be up once I get it compressed. Album reaction part will be coming tomorrow once I give my throat a break.

Video is up on PeerTube and embedded from there until I can get it small enough for Catbox. It's still transcoding, so I don't know when it'll be ready to watch. PT tends to be slow with MKV output from OBS.

Video embed is up on the page. I had to compress the shit out of it so it fit on Catbox, so go to PeerTube if you want remotely decent quality.

OK, thanks for the input. And yeah, that makes sense. I get why the comment limit exists, but it's kind of annoying sometimes, esp. since I do "live" updates in comments and tend to be wordy.
Good news: OBS worked. Bad news: I ended up talking about I See Stars and how they're a microcosm for other scene history topics for an hour and 15 minutes straight, so I'm gonna give my throat a break and record the album reaction tomorrow. Webinar / first part will go up on /musicscene/podcast and PeerTube tonight.

I was in a fanfictiony mood before the accident, but getting repairs and 2fa and stuff logistically managed has been using most of my MP, especially with biking across town to the one repair shop in Redactedville. there's also some fun Zune trivia
OCtober 2024 page was updated because some of the images linked there have changed URLs since last year so became 404s. They aren't anymore. (maybe I'll finally make Terrence a page this year...)
